AI Translate for Documents in Straker Translate App for Slack

You can directly upload your document files and have them machine-translated (AI Translate) within the Straker Translate app.

To upload document files for AI Translate, perform the following:

  1. Drag and drop a document file inside the message box, and then press Enter.
    Note: The following are the file formats supported


    You can also click on the Attach button, and then select Upload from your computer to upload a document file from your computer. File Size Limit = 1 GB.


  2. Select AI Translation.

  3. Select the Source and Target Language from the modal, and then click Submit to submit the file for machine translation.

  4.  A message is posted showing the cost of the AI translation. Review the cost, then click Accept Quote to proceed or Adjust Request to deselect languages/files or cancel the request.  



  5. Once the translation process is complete, your translated document will be returned to you.


     

Note: For certain file types, such as Excel (.xlsx) files, the maximum supported file size may
vary depending on the complexity and structure of the content. As a result, the effective file
size limit may be significantly lower than the standard limit. For example, some .xlsx files may
be limited to approximately 7 MB.
