Straker Translate App - Duplicate File Handling

The Straker Translate App includes intelligent duplicate detection to prevent unnecessary resubmissions and avoid duplicate charges. When a file is submitted for translation, the system checks if an identical or similar translation request was recently processed.

This feature protects users from:

  • Accidental duplicate submissions
  • Unnecessary translation costs
  • Processing delays from redundant requests
  • Workflow errors that trigger multiple submissions

Rules for resubmission

Behavior: New submission is ALLOWED and processed normally.

Rationale: Users should be able to retry failed translations without restriction.
