Checking job status
To check your job status in Straker Translate app, enter the TJ number or type the my jobs in the message pane.
Note: You can only check the status of jobs that have been submitted using your own LanguageCloud account. You cannot check the status of other users’ jobs.
Viewing job summary
To check your job summary in the Straker Translate app, type my jobs in the message pane. You can then select and display your translation jobs with the following options/status:
- In Progress
- Completed
- In Validation
- Pending Quotes
- Order Now
Submitting files for a quote
- Drag and drop files for translation into the message pane on the Straker Translate app.
The Straker Translate app will automatically recognize that you have uploaded files for translation into the app and will automatically prompt you to create a new translation job. - Click New translation job.
- Enter the details of your translation job in the required fields on the New Translation Job window, and then click Submit.
- Enter the details of your translation job in the required fields on the New Translation Job window, and then click Submit
- The following message prompt will display.
- Once the Straker quote engine or the quoter has calculated the cost for the translation job, a job reference number will be assigned to your translation job, and then the quote will be sent to the Straker Translate app.
- Click Accept Quote to accept the translation quote or click Cancel to cancel the translation job request.
Notes:- You can upload up to 10 files to submit for a quote.
- The following file types are supported:

Receiving job notifications
Once your translation job has started, you will be able to get notifications in the Straker Translate app whenever your translation job status changes to In Progress, In Validation, or Completed.
LanguageCloud admin settings
LanguageCloud admins will get a notification when a user of their organization wants to create a LanguageCloud account to access LanguageCloud and Straker Translate app features. The Admin can approve pending members via the Straker Translate app, or within LanguageCloud.

The built-in assistant in the Straker Translate app can help you with your translation needs by typing in your questions or instructions.
