Verify Editor

Editor Layout Overview
- Left Segment → Displays the source text with source character count
- Right Segment → Editable target text field where content can be edited. This also shows the target character count.
- Segment Status Column → Shows whether a segment is locked, saved, or signed off.
- Progress Bar (Bottom Left) → Displays overall translation progress.
Editing Segments
- Click on a target segment to start editing.
- Modify the text as needed in the target field.
- Use the Apply Source to Target button to copy the original text to the target segment (if needed).
- Save each segment you have edited to commit into memory.
- The Quality Score (Bad, Acceptable, Best) helps identify areas that need improvement.
Segment Status
- Save icon indicates unsaved segments.
- Green checkmarks indicate saved segments.
- Lock icon indicates locked segments cannot be edited.
Tools & Features
Terminology tab
- Highlights glossary terms to ensure consistency both in the source and target segments
- Shows the terminology approved for translation
Filters tab
- Allows filtering by:
- Segment Status (Saved, Unsaved, Locked, Edited).
- Quality Score (Bad, Acceptable, Good, Best, Translation Memory).
Settings tab
- Tag Style (Short, Full, Original) to adjust how inline tags are displayed in the Verify Editor..
Light/Dark Mode
- Toggles between light and dark themes for better readability.
Search Bar
- Allows quick searching of specific words or phrases within the file.
Keyboard shortcuts
- Cmd + Enter (Mac) / Ctrl + Enter (Windows) → Save the segment and move to the next.
